Always remember that the name of the game is progressive overload. You must constantly strive to beat last weeks performance. Every workout is a battle; it's you versus the training journal and you have to do whatever you can to avoid losing that battle. If you lose that battle and do not beat your numbers that have been recorded in the log book then the workout was a complete waste of time. The reasons for coming up on the losing end are always the same-- you aren't eating enough, you aren't sleeping enough, you are partying too much (drinking and staying up late) or you are too stressed out. You are not overtraining. I have designed the workouts to ensure against overtraining. Figure out what it is that is holding you back and adjust accordingly. You must always be better than last time.
