Cape Adieu is a 50 seat ketch that operates sunset cruises from Stokes Hill Wharf in Darwin. Sunset Cruises depart the wharf at 5pm and return at 8pm.

The boat is stunning and crewed by a friendly team. The skipper is informative and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything is made from scratch including the home-smoked Spanish mackerel which is also made into a delicious dip that forms forms part of the dip platter you receive on arrival. This isn't your usual surf and turf, throw-it-on-the-barbie meal. The food is of high quality and includes the smoked fish previously mentioned, fresh prawns and oysters, home made salads, bbq steaks, fish and sausages and the most delicious individually made mango cheesecakes for dessert.

The cruise is BYO, which means you can save money by bringing along your own alcoholic or soft drinks. Eskies, ice buckets and glasses are all provided.

I have visited Darwin many times but this was the first time I had ever been aboard Cape Adieu and it was a definite highlight. Book early to avoid disappointment.

I can highly recommend the Cape Adieu, it's a buffet dinner cruise and all their fantastic seafood and salads are prepared fresh every day. They also have BBQ steaks and you can BYO with no corkage.

The skipper is great fun too!!

I did have some friends go on the Alfred Nobel and they were not that happy, very limited food and the drinks were expensive.

Hope this helps and I hope you love Darwin, I did.
