Darwin’s Premier Fashion House, Just Looking, is operated by Suzie, and it wasn’t until Xpose sat down and had a chat with her that we realised exactly how much influence she had over what outfit I don each and every morning.

Just Looking Fashion Boutique is a full blood supporter of Australian Fashion Design Houses, being the only outlet in Darwin hosting the luxurious Cooper St label, as well as the Wish and Quba range.

She is first presented with a storyboard and sketch of each garment of the Label’s range, so the initial thought design of the garment is known. This is followed by the labels Model shot of the garment being worn, with examples of fabric and colour range to provide a further idea of the feel and total look of the piece. It is from these two sources alone from which Suzie provides shoppers with vogue items.

The best part? Only a select number of each piece is purchased, at max a size range, so you can be nearly certain that when you head out wearing your special number noone else will steal your thunder through wearing the same dress! We all love that assurance!

And, (there’s more), Suzie assures me that what she supplies us with in Darwin is right on cue with what’s happening world wide. One look will be on the catwalk in Europe, and within 2 weeks, Australian fashion houses have pieces with that look available, and all Suzie has to do is order as many of what in which colours. Simple!
